Alex Pereira achieved the primary protection in his gentle heavyweight title reign Saturday when he knocked out Jamahal Hill within the UFC 300 primary occasion.
After failing to retain gold in his run at middleweight champ, Pereira (10-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) established himself at 205 kilos with a first-round end of Hill (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) at T-Cell Area in Las Vegas.
Pereira mentioned post-fight he would settle for any matchup provided by the UFC brass, and threw out the thought of transferring as much as heavyweight. There’s contenders ready in his division, too, although, resembling Magomed Ankalaev and Jiri Prochazka.
